God’s promise to Abraham about Canaan was about to be fulfilled. Joshua became leader after Moses, and he spent spies into Jericho who were helped by Rahab. God also divided the River Jordan for the people to cross over. The Lord appeared to Joshua and told him how to conquer Jericho, and the city was taken, but Rahab was saved.
