There are verses throughout the Bible called “Beatitudes” which declare certain conditions under which a person is “blessed” or “happy.” Most famously, Jesus taught his disciples what it means to be blessed in the Sermon on the Mount. These programs examine nine short summary statements by Jesus, recorded in Matthew, chapter 5 and Luke chapter 6.
