Messiah Jesus was unique in His birth, character, works and teaching. He said, “Don’t be a hypocrite, clean outside but dirty inside.” What God desires is a pure heart., which is only possible if we are born again by the Spirit. Just as looking at the snake that Moses raised would heal, so believing in Christ saves us from perishing.
