Jesus suffered and died to fulfill God’s salvation plan, carrying all the sins of the world in His body to death on a cross. Outside Jerusalem, Christ was crucified, saying “Forgive them for they don’t know what they’re doing!” He cried out, “It is finished! Father into your hands I commit My spirit” and died.
