The priests asked for Roman guards at Jesus’ tomb, aware that He predicted He would rise in 3 days. Finding an empty tomb, the women saw angels who told them He was risen. Jesus appeared to two disciples at Emmaus, then twice to the gathering of disciples. “It is Me! Touch My hands and feet!” He said.
