God told Abraham to sacrifice Isaac on Mount Moriah. As he took the knife, God stopped him, and he killed a sheep instead. This pictured how God would provide a perfect sacrifice, a perfect man, for the sins of the world. God fulfilled Abraham’s prophecy in Jesus.
