God is the greatest giver and His followers want to be generous like Him. Abraham gave a tenth, or tithe, of his possessions. Many Christians follow this and give a tenth of all they receive. Above this, they can give other gifts. There are no special rules for giving, it is between a person and God. We should give secretly, and from our hearts, not expecting a reward.
