Isaac and Rebekah had twins, Esau and Jacob. God promised Rebekah the older would serve the younger, so when Esau came in hungry, Jacob bought his birthright from him for a single meal. Esau despised God’s blessings and traded God’s eternal promise for a simple pleasure.
