Jacob deceived Esau again, receiving the firstborn’s blessing of his dying father. Jacob fled Esau’s anger and had a dream in which God reconfirmed his promises to Abraham and Isaac. Jacob worked for his uncle then left, and he wrestled with an angel who changed his name to Israel, prince with God.
