Loneliness can come when we feel we have no friends, that no one cares for us. We may be in a new place, or isolated by trauma, hurt or loss. Our hearts are pictured as homes. One is too open; one is wisely secure and yet another is totally closed. Whatever may imprison us, God’s desire is for us to be free by his power and truth.
