Honesty is to be truthful, not to deceive or manipulate. It is a core value of any society because people operate out of trust. Because of dishonesty, we lock our doors, suffer from crime, have police and military to fight against crime. The root cause of dishonesty is sin in the heart, and Jesus Christ came to take away the sins of the world.
