A widow without hope hears a Bible story told by her aunt about two other widows, Naomi and Ruth. Ruth left her people and country and came to trust Naomi’s God in Bethlehem. In the harvest fields she meets Boaz and asks him to be her kinsman redeemer. As Rahab did, Ruth becomes a mother in Israel and a descendant of Christ.
