The bad news is that the first man, Adam, disobeyed God and sinned. Just like him all have sinned and face God’s judgement, which condemns us to death. The good news is that God sent Jesus to suffer and die in our place, carry our sins, and by grace forgive us and grant us eternal life with Him.
