As Jesus grew, He was without sin, in favour with God and man. When John baptised Him, the Holy Spirit came on Him as a dove. God from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love, in Him am I well pleased.” Then Jesus was led into the wilderness and tempted forty days and nights, resisting Satan by God’s word in the power of the Spirit.
