Leviticus, the Torah’s third book, details the laws of sacrifices for the priests. Israel went from Mt. Sinai to Canaan’s border and Moses sent in spies who returned with a bad report of the people there. The Israelites refused to go into the promised land so God let them die in the desert. They did not believe God.
