Jesus Christ is unique in His birth, character, works, words, and in His identity as the Word made flesh, the Lord. At Passover, Jesus took the bread and the cup, saying, “This is my body… my blood… for you… a new covenant… for the forgiveness of sins.” This fulfills the meaning of the Passover Lamb.
