Hatred of a rich neighbour. When jealousy and envy are in our hearts, God cannot bless us. God’s story of Adam and Eve’s sons, Cain and Abel, shows us that Cain’s hatred brought death on Abel and a curse on himself. If we hate others, God cannot accept us.
