God is One in His being and essence. However, He is revealed in three distinct Persons, who interact continually. They are co-existent and co-eternal yet have distinct roles. God the Father and the Holy Spirit are revealed in the OT, and Jesus is revealed as the Son of God, the Word of God and the Messiah in the NT. There are several Scriptures that mention the Three Persons together.
